SMS Terms and Conditions
1- Your Consent to Communication via SMS (Short Message Service, also known as text messaging):
By providing your mobile/cell phone number in the retail location when you purchased your key or the Car Keys Express product, you provided us with your written consent to receive text messages from Car Keys Express (or its designee) regarding Car Keys Express’ services. You were advised at that time that message and data rates may apply. The mobile/cell phone, other phone numbers (if any) and other information we obtained as part of your granting of SMS communication consent and the special order process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
2- Types of Authorized SMS/Text Communications:
As mentioned above, you have given your consent for Car Keys Express (and its designee) to receive text messages from us in association with your special order. You may receive messages related to the following as such relates to your special order:
- Conversational SMS/texts
- Follow up messages
- Responses to your inquiries
By way of example only, you may receive text messages along the lines of: “Hello, we received your voicemail. For a warranty replacement please bring your car and keys to either site location for replacement. We are at the Costco Cumberland mall and Costco perimeter this week Tuesday – Sunday from 10-6 pm. Stop by anytime.”
3- Message Frequency will Vary:
Be assured that Car Keys Express will not continually send you text messages. Car Keys Express’ message frequency will be that which is necessary to provide you with reasonable updates as to your special order. Depending on the nature of that special order, frequency may vary. For example, if your special order involves a product out of stock, Car Keys Express or its designee may provide you with special order SMS/text updates twice a week or more frequently depending on circumstances. .
4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:
As mentioned in Section 1 above, you were advised at that time of placing the special order that message and data rates may apply. Depending on your carrier’s pricing plan and your data plan, please note that standard message and data rates may apply. Your carrier’s fees may vary depending on if the text message is sent domestically or internationally.
5- Opt-In Method:
As indicated in Section 1 above, by providing your mobile/cell phone number in the retail location when you purchased your key or the Car Keys Express product, you provided us with your written consent (you Opted In) to receive text messages from Car Keys Express (or its designee) regarding Car Keys Express’ services.
6- You have the Right to Opt-Out. The Opt-Out Process:
At any time, you have the right to opt-out of receiving further SMS/text messages from Car Keys Express or its designee. To opt-out, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS/text message you receive from Car Keys Express. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request your removal from Car Keys Express’ messaging list. Call Car Key’s Express Customer Service Center at: (502) 203-1615. This Customer Service Center will be available to take your call Monday through Saturday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Central Standard Time).
